Named after the village near where Ndia-Ini (meaning ‘the deepest part of a river’) Cooperative was formed, the station is owned by cooperative members who sell their coffee beans through the cooperative. The station was built in 1969 and the cooperative has 1,200 registered farmers, about 395 of whom consistently deliver coffee cherries there.
